Wonders of the Web

Links to the most popular websites, with a brief description of each.

Google

A thought control website that also half-tries to provide search functionality, AI, news, and other tools, but only when it's congruent with the thought-control agenda and doesn't require much skill.

Everything coming from Google is biased and censored, whether it's your web search results, news, or AI. In the innovation arena, we see an embarrassing long list of failed products from Google over the years.

Despite Google's strong focus on promoting the woke agenda and discriminating against conservatives, President Trump is now defending Google, even threatening other countries taking action against Google.

I tell ya, Iran and Venezuela haven't harmed me, but Google has. Why are our "leaders" still trying to convince us to support military actions around the world when our enemies are at home - and they're defending them? They must be a bunch of mis-leaders.

Facebook

A place for an endless stream of spammers to be your friends. I wanna go where everyone knows my name, like the Cheers show, and where the trivial notifications are difficult to disable, like on Facebook. They know exactly what they're doing. It's annoying by design.

Only a few years ago, they were censoring all the inconvenient news and those who talked about it, whether it was about the Hunter Biden laptop or covid-19. Mark Zuckerberg had a change of heart after it all fell apart and was exposed.

YouTube

YouTube is very slow due to awful design, as even Google's own webmaster tools will indicate, but YouTube will inevitably say the problem is with your connection or your computer.

Searching effectively on YouTube is almost impossible, with a variety of obstacles and even repeating results, which is funny considering it's owned by Google, supposedly the king of search.

Once a place for independent thought, YouTube now primarily serves as another outlet for the propagandists of the mainstream media to craft your opinion. It is secondly a place for ads, and that's why you need an ad blocker. It is thirdly a place for misleading clickbait. Ya gotta keep the regular people down.

YouTube likes to cover up the video you're trying to watch with annoying things called overlays, which you can't disable without using a third-party ad blocker, because YouTube never wants you to be able to do whatever it is that you're actually trying to do. The people making videos had to start adding 30 seconds of filler at the end to try to keep Google from covering up anything important. Is that stupid AF or what?

Drudge Report

This is perhaps the anti-Trump headquarters of the web. It always has the latest news about shemales and anti-Trump cartoons, because that's what matters.

LinkedIn

The website for signing up, where being signed up is the most important thing. They show the actual content to Google's crawlers so linkedin will get into people's search results, but then linkedin just shows a sign-up page to us human visitors, because false advertising is ok.

But I really want to hire the people who go eagerly along with anything, including unethical behavior, for a chance to promote themselves and make more money.

And I really want to hire folks who provide their personal information to anyone who asks for it when they're trying to do something else online, a great habit for those seeking jobs where security matters.

For the love of all that is good and decent, please use a trusted ad blocker to avoid feeding these monsters.
